White Oak Wellness is specifically designed for mature adults (55+) who want to stay fit in a non-threatening and fun environment. Our professionally trained, friendly staff is always available to help with equipment and exercise in our welcoming facility.

Our Employees
Christian Smith, Wellness Director
Christian is a resident and native of Spartanburg. In May 2019 he received his B.S. Degree in Exercise Science from Winthrop University, where his studies included topics such as physical activity for special and aging populations, exercise testing and prescription, and strength and conditioning. He is certified as a group fitness instructor through the Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Christian worked as a Wellness Specialist Intern at Westminster Towers Retirement Community in Rock Hill, SC. During his internship he quickly became passionate about sharing his knowledge of exercise and the importance of living a healthy lifestyle. He enjoys listening to music, being physically active, and spending time with family.
Patrick Miller, Wellness Coordinator
Patrick is a native and resident of Spartanburg for 30 years. After high school, Patrick became a personal trainer in Spartanburg for 8 years. As an ISSA, International Sports Science Association, certified personal trainer he focused on weight loss management and the aging population. After finding his passion in helping others with health and wellness he received his B.S. degree in Exercise Science at University of South Carolina Upstate, where he researched lumbar problems in the aging population. Patrick has been an intern at multiple physical therapy clinics, but missed working with people on a personal basis, so the Wellness Coordinator position at White Oak was a great fit! He enjoys golfing, snowboarding, and spending time with family.
Allie Kitchens, Wellness Coordinator
Allie is a native and resident of Gaffney, SC. In May 2019 she received her B.S. degree in Exercise Science from Lander University, following she received her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Greenville Technical College. Allie has served as a student PTA where she interned at multiple therapy clinics specializing in special and aging populations. She is very passionate about working with people to meet their short and long-term lifestyle/health goals. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, photography, and reading.
